If you wish to connect an HD terminal to an HD television (720p or 1080p), you have a choice between two types of video connection:
- HDMI – With an HDMI cable, your television obtains a digital video and audio transmission in high definition, with a resolution until 1080p.
HDMI CONNECTION: Use this configuration if you are connecting with an HDMI cable.
- Component – With component cables (red, blue, green), it gets analog video transmission in high definition, with a resolution until 1080i.
COMPONENT CONNECTION: Use this connection if you are connecting with component cables (red, blue, green) for video and RCA cables (red and white) for audio.
