Basic warranty


The basic warranty is valid for one year and is included with the purchase of a terminal or cable modem. The warranty starts automatically on the date on which the services in the customer’s file are activated. In the event of a breakdown following normal use, simply call the technical support team and Videotron will dispatch a qualified technician to your home to replace the defective equipment with an equivalent model of equal or superior characteristics*.

 

 * Depending on equipment availability, a defective terminal will be replaced by a refurbished or a new model of equal or superior characteristics.

 

Service Plan


To give you more peace of mind, Videotron is offering an extended warranty program at low cost. This means that the equipment purchased is under warranty for a total period of three (3) years, starting from the date on which the services are activated. This warranty has the same coverage as the basic warranty.

 

The extended warranty must be purchased within 30 days of activating the service, and the charge for it will appear on your Vidéotron invoice.

Basic warranty


The basic warranty is valid for three years. It is included with the purchase of a brand-new HD or HDPVR illico new generation terminal. The warranty automatically takes effect on your equipement activation date.

 
In the event of breakage following normal use of the device, please contact Technical Support. A technician will come to your house and replace the defective model with a terminal  of equal or superior characteristics*.
 

 * Depending on availability, a defective terminal will be replaced by a refurbished or new model of equal or superior characteristics.

 

Service Plan


To bring you better peace of mind, Videotron provides a service plan. It covers you for a period of five years, and takes effect on your equipement activation date.

 
In the event of breakage following normal use of the device, simply call the technical Support team and Vidéotron will dispatch a qualified technician to your home to replace the defective equipment with a new model of equal or superior characteristics.

 
The service plan must be purchased within the 30 days following your  equipment activation date. The related fees will appear on your Videotron invoice.
