Connection
HD digital video recorder, external recorder and HD television
Basic
The television must be on channel 3 or 4, or connected to the correct composite (RCA) input to watch content on the external recorder.
The television must be connected to the correct component (YPbPr) or HDMI input to watch the PVR terminal in high definition.
The PVR’s RCA “OUT2” outputs must be connected to the external recorder; because the PVR terminal transmits HD channels in letterbox format, there will be bars at the top and bottom of the image when they’re recorded by the external recorder.
Supported
Coaxial connection (SD)
Composite connection (SD)
Component connection (HD)
HDMI connection
RCA audio connection
Audio connection by digital coaxial cable
Splitter connection (standard, camera)
Connection for archiving
