Manufacturer’s warranty


Start by consulting the ‘troubleshooting’ section of your device’s user guide to see if you can fix the problem yourself. If this isn’t possible, visit one of our points of sale. If a problem is found and is covered by the warranty, we will exchange your mobile phone. You must present a proof of purchase to determine the warranty period.

If you’re not entirely satisfied with the mobile telephony service, you can cancel your subscription within the thirty (30) days following the activation of the service, provided you have not exceeded 30 minutes of use, whichever occurs first. You must return the device in its original box with all the accessories and proof of purchase. It is important that the device and accompanying items are not damaged. You must, however, pay usage fees up until the date you return it. No termination fees will be charged.

As Videotron does not manufacture its own equipment, the only warranties it offers are those of the manufacturers.


If your phone is defective during the manufacturer's warranty period, visit one of our points of sale. The manufacturer's warranty is valid for one year on mobile devices.


A proof of purchase is required to benefit from the satisfaction guarantee or the manufacturer's warranty.


If your warranty is expired or if damages are not covered by the warranty, you must visit a Videotron point of sale.

Please note that:
Defects and damages caused by improper storage, contact with liquid or humidity, physical damage, unauthorized modifications, misuse, neglect, abuse, misapplications, accidents, improper installation, abnormal operating conditions, or acts of God are not covered by the warranty.
