IMAP

Step 1

Open Windows Mail.

Click Tools

Step 2

Click Accounts…

Step 3

Click Add…

Step 4

Choose E-mail Account

Click Next

Step 5

In the field marked Display name, type your name as you would like it to appear in your emails.

Click Next

Step 6

Choose IMAP as incoming e-mailserver type

Incoming mail server :imap.videotron.ca

Outgoing e-mail server name :smtp.videotron.ca

Check Outgoing server requires authentication.

Step 7

In the field marked E-mail address username, enter your Videotron email address in lower case and without accents.

In the field marked Password, enter your password.

Check Remember password

Click Next.

Step 8

Click Finish

Step 9

Click Properties

Step 10

Click on Advanced tab

Step 11

Change Outgoing mail port for 465.

Check This server requires a secure connection (SSL)

Change Incoming mail port for 993.

Check This server requires a secure connection (SSL)

Click OK.

Configuration is done.
