Step 1

Open Mozilla Thunderbird.

Click on button to show the menu. Then click on the right arrow of Options...

Click on Account Settings…

Step 3

Click on Account Actions

Step 4

Choose Add Mail Account…

Step 5

In the field marked Your name, type your name as you would like it to appear in your emails.

In the field marked Email address, enter your Videotron email address in lower case and without accents.

In the field marked Password, enter your password.

Check Remember password

Click Continue

Step 6

After a search, Thunderbird will configure itself.

Click Manual config

Step 7

Incoming
Enter 993 as port and select SSL/TLS as value of SSL.

Outgoing
Enter 465 as port and select SSL/TLS as value of SSL.

Click Done

If Done button is not available, you must click Re-test first.

Step 8

Configuration is done.
