POP

Step 1

Open Microsoft Outlook 2013.

Select Files from the menu bar.

Step 2

Click on Account Settings, then on Account Settings.

Step 3

Click on New

Step 4

Check Manually Configure Server Settings or Additional Server Types and click on Next.

Step 5

Check POP or IMAP and click on Next.

Step 6

In the field marked Your Name, type your name as you would like it to appear in your emails.

In the field marked Email Address, enter your Videotron email address in lower case and without accents.

Make sure the account type is POP3.

In the field marked Incoming Mail Server, type pop.videotron.ca in lower case and without accents.

In the field marked Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP), type smtp.videotron.ca in lower case and without accents.

In the field marked Username, enter your Videotron email address in lower case and without accents.

In the field marked Password, enter your password.

Click on More Settings.

Step 7

Click on the Outgoing Server tab.

Step 8

Check My Outgoing Server (SMTP) Requires Authentication.

Click on the Advanced tab.

Step 9

-Change the Incoming server (SMTP)port number to 995.

-Select SSL as “type of encrypted connection”

-Change the Outgoing server (SMTP)port number to 465.

-Select SSL as “type of encrypted connection”

-Click OK.

Step 10

Click on Next.

Step 11

Once the account settings test is complete, click Close.

Step 12

Configuration is done.

Click on Finish to complete your account set-up.
