Connecting a computer to my household wi-fi

Connect a computer with Windows XP, Vista, 7 and 8

STEP 1

First, find the name of your wireless network (SSID), as well as your WPA key (your password).

This information can normally be found at the back of your router.          
STEP 2          
Step 2 - Windows(xp,vista,7 ou 8)Click on the network icon located at the bottom right of your computer screen to display the available wireless networks.          
STEP 3          
Step 3 - Windows(xp,vista,7 ou 8)
  • Select your network (SSID)
  • Check AUTOMATIC CONNECTION
  • Click on CONNECT
Check that your network is still secure. Do not give away your WPA key.
 
NOTE: Your WPA key may alternatively be labelled PASSWORD. Your network may be labelled SSID.
STEP 4          
Step 4 - Windows(xp,vista,7 ou 8)
  • Enter your WPA key
  • Click on OK
Your connection will activate once authentification is complete.
