If you wish to connect an HD terminal to an HD television (720p or 1080p), you have a choice between two types of video connection:


• HDMI – With an HDMI cable, your television obtains a digital video and audio transmission in high definition, with a resolution until 1080p.

• Component –  With component cables (red, blue, green), it gets analog video transmission in high definition, with a resolution until 1080i.


RECOMMENDED CONNECTION: HDMI CONNECTION

Use this configuration if you are connecting with an HDMI cable.

For optimum audio quality, this type of connection does not allow you to control the volume of your termial.



OTHER CONNECTION: COMPONENT CONNECTION

Use this configuration if you are connecting with the component cables that are included with your terminal:

• Component cables (red, blue, green) for video

• RCA cables (red and white) for audio
