img-q18-b1>If you notice that the background noise is becoming increasingly loud during the phone conversation, the problem may cause a short-circuit. 
Have your internal wiring checked.

img-q18-b3Make sure to turn off or move away any sources of interference near the modem or phone (ex.: wireless router, microwave, etc.).
ELECTRONIC NOISE
img-q18-b2Disconnect the modem from the wall socket. If the noise disappears, plug the modem into a different socket.
