A free BlackBerry operating system upgrade is available to Videotron subscribers who own a BlackBerry Torch 9860.
Simply connect your BlackBerry Torch to your computer via the BlackBerry Desktop application and follow the instructions.
Go to this link to download the latest version of the BlackBerry Torch 9860 software to your computer:
Select “Videotron” and go to the next screen.
From the drop-down menu, select “BlackBerry Torch 9860 Smartphone” then click on “Suivant” (“Next”)
(please note that the interface is in French).
Make sure that version 184.108.40.2068 is selected, then click on “Téléchargez” (”Download”) .”
Make sure to fill in all of the required fields on the form.
After completing the form, click on “Télécharger” (“Download”).
The file size is 260 MB. Select “Exécuter” (“Run”) to install the software.
Follow the instructions until the installation is complete.
Next, make sure you have the latest version of the BlackBerry Desktop software installed on your computer.

It is recommended that you download the application, even if you already have it installed on your computer, to ensure that you have the latest version.
When you connect your BlackBerry Torch 9860 to your computer and you click on the BlackBerry Desktop application, the option to upgrade will pop up on-screen.
Select “Get Update.”
The connection to your phone is now established.
Confirm the options you selected before proceeding with the installation of the upgrade.
Make sure that the box marked “Back Up Device Data” is checked before proceeding with the software update.
Wait a few moments for the upgrade to be installed.
Once the installation is complete, disconnect your BlackBerry Torch 9860.
Your smartphone has been upgraded and now features the latest version (Bundle 2108).
