Configuration for Windows 7

Click “Start” and then “Control Panel.”

Click “Network and Internet”  and then “View network status and tasks.”

In “Network and Sharing Center,” click “Local Area Connection.”

Click “Local area network connection status” and then “Properties.”

Select “Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)” and then click “Properties.”

Make sure that “Obtain an IP address automatically” and “Obtain DNS server address automatically” are checked. Click “OK.”

In “Local area connection properties,” click “OK.”

Return to “Local area network connection status” and click “Details.”

Carefully take down the IPv4 address.

This IP address must start with the number 192. If this is not the case, repeat the previous steps.

 

Click “Close” to close all active windows, and then restart your computer if you are asked to.

 

You are now ready to configuring your router.
