Disconnecting and reconnecting an Internet router

The router allows you to transform your Internet connection into a wireless connection, which means that it creates a Wi-Fi network.

Do you have connection problems? Do only devices connected to wireless Internet seem to be affected?

If the answer is yes, here is what to do:

  1. Disconnect your router from power  for about 10 seconds.
  2. Plug the power back in and wait a few minutes. The lights will stop flashing.

This process may be enough to restore your Wi-Fi.

If it doesn’t, reset your modem.
