The socket locks the Videotron cable to ensure the quality of the signal and that calls can be made in case of an emergency.
Do not try to remove it yourself; a technician will take care of it.
CABLE TRANSPORTATION AND INSTALLATION

  • You must bring with you the cable that connects your television to your illico terminal. It is not necessary to bring the Videotron cables with you.
  • The technician will install cable on the surface of the wall, not in it.
NOTE: You can have up to five services installed on a single technician's visit. You will be billed $19.95 for each additional installation.
ACTIVATION OF NEW OUTLETS
serv_03_e6It is possible to install a maximum of 6 television-related pieces of equipment (outlets, terminals, DTA, etc.) per home and 1 Internet and/or Residential Telephony piece of equipment.
INSTALLATION
serv_03_e6Usually, all outlets can be installed in one day.
