What is the unique identifier?

Linking accounts

The Single Sign-on or unique identifier is a one-name-one-password means of access to your services online (WebMail, Customer Center). It’s a simple way to make your life easier.

 

Note that although registration to a unique identifier is recommended, it is not mandatory.

 

Secondary accounts and delegation


A Videotron-account holder can create secondary accounts for other account users so that access to certain services can be delegated. Up to five user accounts* can be created, modified, or deleted as you see fit. Each user has an individual username and password to manage his or her profile and access assigned services online. For example, couples can access their online invoices without sharing the same username.

 

Increased security

The technology behind the unique identifier offers users increased security. The criteria for choosing a username and password are quite strict, and secret questions enable users who have forgotten their passwords to identify themselves. Your personal information is now safer than ever.

 

 

Subscribe to the unique identifier :

1. Open a Customer Centre session.
2. Access your profile.
3. Enable "Link my accounts" option.
