What to do before installation

WHEN OUR TECHNICIAN ARRIVES
It’s important that you or a member of your staff be present to ensure access to your equipment room during our technician’s visit.
KEEP YOUR NUMBER
We take care of calling your current service provider to cancel the lines you wish to transfer to Videotron Business Solutions.

If you have a separate long-distance service provider, please make sure to advise them that you’re having your lines transferred to Videotron Business Solutions.
TELEPHONE SYSTEM
If you have a telephone system, please note that the installation is a two-step process.

1. Modem and telephone lines are installed by a Videotron technician.

2. Telephone lines are connected to your telephone system by way of an interconnector. If you opt for a Videotron interconnector, an appointment with the technician will be scheduled one business day following the initial installation.

There is no service interruption between these two steps.

Please note that the configuration and installation are at your discretion.
ALARM SYSTEM
If you have an alarm system, our technician will perform a communication test. You must advise your security service provider of these tests.
