How to reset your password to access the Aruba Central portal

Enter the URL:https://portal-ca.central.arubanetworks.com.

Enter your email address.

Click on Need Help?.

Enter your email address, then click Submit. Within a few minutes you will receive an email to reset your password.

Enter your new password, then click Submit to confirm your password modification.

How to use context help on the Aruba Central portal

Go to the Aruba Central homepage and click on the question mark (?) located at the bottom of the page. 

Next, place your cursor over the text written in green italics to see the Help section. 

Click on the ? on the bottom of the page to see contextual help, then place your cursor over the text written in green italics.

When you are done, click on the I’m done button.

How to change the password of a Wi-Fi network

Go to the main menu and select Manage the Wi-Fi network

Go to the filters.

Select your company’s group of devices.

Select the Wi-Fi network, then click on the pencil icon to activate modification mode.

In the security section, modify the password than save your changes.

How to configure content filtering rules

Go the main menu and select Manage the Wi-Fi network.

Select the Wi-Fi network, then click on the pencil icon to activate modification mode. 

Select Access, then click on the + sign to add a new rule.  

Add the Control access rule.

Select content type (application category, application, Web category or Web reputation), as well as all the services for which you want to restrict access, then select refuse in the action field.

How to configure bandwidth control

Go the main menu and select Manage the Wi-Fi network.

Select the Wi-Fi network, then click on the pencil icon to activate modification mode. 

Select Access, then click on the + sign to add a new rule.

Add the Bandwidth policy rule.

Select the type of access management, either SSID (Service) or user (Bandwidth policy), then save your changes.
